Meet The Doctor

Dr. Amanda Apfelblat specializes in Pediatric, Maternity and  Family  Wellness  Care.  She has been a member of the Westland Chamber of Commerce since 2003.  She has served on the Board of Directors and as a Chamber Ambassador since 2003.  She has served on the Executive Board since 2004.  Dr. Apfelblat served as Chairman of the Board in 2006.  She has been the Taste fest Co-chair since 2004.  She was awarded both the 2007 Westland Business Person of the Year and Westland's 2007 Non-Rotarian of the year.  She Co-chairs the Chamber Shopping Extravaganza and has served on the following Chamber Committees: Community and Educational Development, Business and Economical Growth and the Ambassador Club.  Dr. Amanda Apfelblat is a sponsor of the Chamber Annual Golf Outing, Winter Bowl Fest, Restaurant Rally, Taste Fest, and the Shopping Extravaganza.

Dr. Amanda Apfelblat is a member of the Garden City Business and Professional Women's Group.  She sits on the Advisory Board for the Westland Salvation Army and for Schoolcraft College's Massage Therepy Program.  She has spoken at Westland Middle Schools and High Schools about the field of Chiropractic and also sponsors a college scholarship for William D. Ford High School students.  She participates with the Chamber in the Westland Youth Assistance Program's annual career and job skill evening.  She sponsors many community organization fundraising events including: Westland Chamber, Westland Police-TRU, Rotary Club, Westland Foundation, Garden City Hospital, and the Salvation Army.

Dr. Apfelblat is a member of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors.  She currently serves for the MAC as a district officer.  She also serves as the VIP Club Chair, an elite group of distinguished MAC members.  Dr. Apfelblat is a founding member of the MCPA the Michigan Chiropractic Pediatric Association and currently serves on the Board of Directors.  Dr. Apfelblat is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.  She has an advanced Board Certification in Pediatric Chiropractic.
